Oh lovely mud! In the beginning it all starts out as a lump of clay and with a few turns of the wheel, a little water, and some harmonious movement between two hands...the lump transforms into a work of art. With trimming, heat from a kiln, glazing and another round in the kiln...functional art is created that can be used in a kitchen, served to guests, placed in a kitchen window, or next to the stove. My love for cooking and pottery have sparked this passion for creating functional, wheel-thrown stoneware pottery that I would use in my very own home. -Christine
